Solid wood planks do not have a wear layer as the entire plank is constructed from a single piece of wood.
Overall appearance of a country style floor, knots allowed sound & filled, small through knots, checks and splits end splits allowed, colour variation plank to plank allowed, 12.5% sapwood/mineral streak on the face surface of each plank allowed
The contents of this pack contain mixed lengths. Plank lengths are mixed between the figures shown above to compliment a more random design.
When installing wood flooring, there is much to consider and understand before laying your first plank! We thoroughly recommend that you would employ a professional fitter for your project.
Whether you take on the task yourself, or find a fitter to lay your floor, please refer to our informative range of downloads below to ensure best practice!
All Oak Floor Sales products are suitable for a large range of room types in both the domestic and commercial situations.
Whilst wood flooring will withstand to some extent being laid in an area likely to get wet, we wouldn't recommend installations directly into bathrooms, any area with excessive moisture, or areas likely to experience prolonged periods of laying water.
If you are in any doubt, please refer to our installation notes available to download below.
